Friends of the badminton sport can be glad to the 23-rd time about a sporty great event which advertises to Saarland as a keen on sport land and is perceived meanwhile well over the borders of Saarland as a top arrangement of the badminton sport: The Bitburger SaarLorLux Open. This year's tournament with international occupation is delivered from the 31st August to the 5th September, 2010 in the Saarland hall.

By a rise of the prize money the world class tournament has further won in attraction. Directly after the world championship in Paris the international competition in Saarbrucken has the possibility to gain other victories and premiums. I am sure that thereby even more top sportsmen than, otherwise, are to be admired, because in this high-class tournament international top players will take part.

The Bitburger SaarLorLux Open are convincing not only by exciting match, but also by the special atmosphere of this competition with his diverse supporting program. The sport owns a high value in our land. The numerous sporty big events which have taken place during the past years with us, but also the substantial wide-sporty engagement of the Saarland citizens and female citizens file an impressive report of this sports enthusiasm.

Hence, I am glad especially that the organizer's community has succeeded by the obligation of international top players and female top players again in offering a badminton to highlight in Saarland. With this World-Grand-Prix-Turnier the fascination and dynamism of the badminton sport is presented to the numerous spectators and female spectators very closely.

The Bitburger SaarLorLux Open take place this year already to the 23-rd time and are a steady component of the Saarland sports calendar. Especially I would like to thank at this point the numerous honourary assistants and female assistants as well as the sponsors without whose extraordinary engagement the adjustment of such big events with the organizational and financial expenditure necessary in addition would not be to be performed.
